Winter Workshops (1st Edition)

The Winter Workshops are organized by the Master in Sonic Arts of the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Italy) and they will be held during March 2021. 

Throughout the lectures, the participants will be guided into some aspects of the music production, with particular reference to the electronic music. Through simple examples, they will be presented the main phases of the music creation, from the concept and the composition techniques, to the mix and mastering.

Programs will be taught in english.

Structure of the Workshops:

The Winter Workshops will be organized in on-line mode and articulated in three subjects:

Real Time Music Composition, taught by Prof. Carlos Delgado (USA)

Non Real Time Music Composition, taught by Prof. Paolo Gatti (Italy)

Mixing and Mastering Techniques, taught by Prof. Francesco La Camera (Italy)

Subscribers will be provided with the codes of the Zoom meetings on the 1st March 2021

Attendance:

At the end of the Winter Workshops, the participants can ask for a certificate of attendance. Furthermore, the Winter Workshops will provide an equivalent of 1.5 CFU (University Formative Credits) that can be spent within the formative offering of the Master in Sonic Arts and of the Master in Film and Video Games Music Composition organized by the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”.

The enrollment in the Workshops is free.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of the computer. It is not necessarily required to have a previous experience in the field of music.
