Sonic Arts Program – Artistic Residency in Thailand during August 2024

From 26th August 2024 until 29th September 2024, the multimedia installation titled “From 8 to Infinity: exploring the Workism Phenomenon” took place at MatDot Art Center of Bangkok, Thailand (https://www.matdotart.com);

The installation was curated by Sarana Wiriyaprasit and the project involved three artists from 3 different countries: Trinnapat Chaisitthisak (Thailand, visual art and drawing), Carlos Delgado (USA, visual art and computer graphics), Paolo Gatti (Italy, electroacoustic music composition and sound design);

The Artwork has been on view at the Backlist Gallery of MatDot Art Center for more than one month; the Opening event took place on the 26th August 2024;

“Ambienti in Evoluzione”, concert 1, 13th June 2024

L’idea alla base di questa breve rassegna è quella di evocare attraverso la musica uno spazio in evoluzione (che sia reale, virtuale o mentale ) attraverso i linguaggi della multimedialità ; i brani, di differente genere musicale e talvolta a cavallo fra la musica colta e la musica popolare sono tutti connessi, in senso stretto o in senso lato, a differenti aspetti del paesaggio sonoro e della musica d’ambiente.

The classes will be thought in English through on line platform Microsoft Teams. Within the formative offering of The Sonic Arts Program , we also offer the students the possibility to obtain the VISA and come to Rome for an internship organized in collaboration with one of our partner

From this year, Erasmus students coming to University of Rome Tor Vergata (Faculty of Arts), will be able to include in their curricula some exams included in the formative offering of the Master.
