Summer School “Performing the Space: Integration among the Arts”
Sono aperte le iscrizioni per la Summer School 2020 organizzata dal Master in Sonic Arts dell’ Università degli Studi di Roma “Tor Vergata”.
I corsi, a differenza degli scorsi anni sono stati posticipati a dopo l’Estate.
I moduli attivati per l’anno accademico 2019/2020 sono:
– Modulo 1 ( 3 CFU) :
Tecniche compositive fra musica elettronica d’arte e popular – docente: Paolo Gatti
(in appendice al modulo 1 si terrà il workshop di Costanza Savarese sulle modalità di emissione vocale nei vari stili)
– Modulo 2 (6 CFU) :
Mixing avanzato con Pro Tools – docenti: Francesco La Camera – Willy Antico

Lecture of Prof. La Camera at the Media Campus Dieburg (Germany)
On 26/05/2020, Prof. Francesco La Camera will give a lesson at the “Live Film Music” course of the Media Campus Dieburg associated with the Hochschule University of Applied Sciences in Darmstad. The course is held by prof. Carsten Kümmel, German Sound Designer of European music productions including The World of Hans Zimmer and BBC Planet Earth. The lesson will be entitled: “Balance Sound Engineer in the Live show – from Classical Ensembles to Bocelli” and will take place in WebMeeting mode, from 5.00 pm. The lecture will focus on some aspects of the professional and work experience of the speaker. The lesson is organized as a form of collaboration and exchange between colleagues (as Sound Engineers and Teachers) and Istitutions, therefore all students of the Master in Sonic Arts are invited to participate. For those interested in getting to know better prof. Kümmel, in the month of June he will return with a lesson that will take place at a date yet to be fixed. Anyone interested in attending the lecture can give confirmation with an email to prof. La Camera (fralac@tiscali.it) and to Master in Sonic Arts (info@mastersonicarts-eng.uniroma2.it).

Seminars, lectures and concerts among Italy and Malta
During November 2019, there will be some events involving the Master in Sonic Arts.
18th November: a seminar on the soundscape composition, in collaboration with University “Roma Tre”. More details HERE
26th November: an electronic music workshop focused on the composition of acousmatic music, followed by a concert in quadriphony . More details HERE
27th November: a workshop focused on music for film and videogames. More details HERE
28th November: a Max Msp workshop in collaboration with the University of Malta and the Westchester Community College of New York. More details HERE
Multimedia Concert in collaboration with Conservatory of Rome
Monday 17th September, has taken place at the Auditorium Ennio Morricone, a Multimedia Concert, organized by the Master in Sonic Arts, in collaboration with the Conservatory Santa Cecilia of Rome. The concert has involved students coming from both the Institutions. The students have had the opportunity to perform their works and compositions realized during the academic year.
